05 February 2015 - NMMU Business School welcomed Prof. Dr. Kai-Uwe Wellner to the School on the 5th of February 2015. Prof. Dr. Wellner, from the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg in Germany, lectured second-year MBA Part-Time and Block students currently completing their International Management Module.
Prof. Dr. Wellner, a professor in International Business, completed his PhD in Business Management at Erlangen-Numerberg University in 2001.
Prof. Dr. Wellner specialises in various fields including: Controlling, investment controlling, corporate governance, strategic management, international management and marketing of consumer and commercial enterprises.
He was appointed as a professor at the University of Augsberg where he lectured Control and International Management from 2001-2006.
From 2008-2009 he lectured at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
In 2011 Prof. Dr. Wellner gained full professorship in “International Business” at the Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm in Nürnberg, Germany.
