NMMU Business School 2012 Executive Education Certification Ceremony
NMMU Business School hosted its annual Certificate and Diploma Certification Ceremony for Executive Education at NMMU South Campus auditorium on Tuesday afternoon.
Certificates and diplomas were awarded to students who attended open public programmes and employees on company specific programmes, designed and delivered for clients in private and public sectors.
NMMU Business School’s vision of becoming a world-class authority in management, business and leadership education was especially measured by its diverse international student body of 2011.
Students from countries such as Sri-Lanka, South Sudan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Nepal Mozambique, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Namibia attended programmes at NMMU Business School and were present at the Executive Education Diploma and Certification Ceremony held in Port Elizabeth this week.
NMMU Executive Dean for Business and Economic Sciences Prof Niekie Dorfling said students received qualifications empowering them to reach greater heights and that they need to embrace a commitment towards creating a sustainable future and a better tomorrow in their organisations and communities. Dorfling said that lifelong learning remains key to personal development, ongoing career progression and organisational development.
